We met Danyell and her daughter, Daisy, at Le Château de Thauvenay — Thauvenay being a small village in Sancerre — where she told us about her upbringing in Nebraska, her passion for reading, and her experience as the manager of the historic castle built in 1800 by Napoleon’s Minister of Interior.
